The law and legal system share in the role of intervention and recovery by delivering appropriate consequences for individuals who abuse the law when using and abusing alcohol and other mind-changing chemicals.

Often times drug court rulings will include time in jail or offer a combination of probation, drug testing and frequent monitoring by a probation officer. Other times it may be required by the courts that a person enroll in a quality drug treatment plan that will ensure accountability, offer drug testing, and provide the appropriate rehabilitation and treatment, support and services necessary for long-lasting recovery.

Lifeway has an excellent reputation in delivering the necessary coordinated services to support the goals of the Justice System with individualized planning and proper support for each individual. Lifeway's goal is to provide the individual with an accountable system of support and a fully integrated system of therapeutic services. Support plans include an alternate peer group, facilitated 12-step group meetings, weekend and weekday activities and meetings, and service and retreat opportunities. Lifeway's accountable recovery program includes a safe and sober fully-accredited high school or college bound educational options for the courts and families.

Lifeway also works with the individual within this accountable system to provide the crucial guidance, education, support and tools of recovery to create or restore positive values and to nurture the enthusiasm and hope in a life set free from self-destructive addictions.
